Photography 2 Academic Excellence has made its way to Mu Kanda-
Our online communiversity with soul!
It's a natural - Digital photography and a digital learning, feedback and exhibition medium.
Available for students of all ages who want to
- develop their photography eye,
- improve their photography skills,
- sharpen their intellect,
- learn about the African Diaspora and have fun doing it.
Students learn:
- photographic composition
- African past and culture
- writing/storytellin'
- math (fractions, proportions, ratios, geometry, etc.),
- the digital darkroom and
- the world of digital photography (pixels, mega pixels, optical and digital zooms, jpeg compression, raw format, etc.).
Other features:
- Peer and Professional Photography review and
instruction
- Assignments twice weekly
- Students photograph their world and show it to
the world!
- Weekly competition and exhibits
- Portfolio development for all ages and skill
levels
